A 6 month project with the Somali Refugee young people who created an organisation called Somayo to uniting historically warring tribes. A bi-lingual performance was developed to share the story of Somalia’s division and the participant’s consequent migration to Australia through refugee camps. A community celebration honoured these stories and connected the broader community through this special event.
