Invited to create unit for Masters on Community Cultural Development
Deanna of D:create was invited to co-create a new unit for the Masters of Community Development at the University of Queensland about adding the cultural and creative factor to practice. Teaching on this unit was such a delight, working with students who’d come to study in the course from South America, China, Philppines, Sudan, USA and Australia. Sharing stories of how practice works around the world was so rich. Working with Jason McLeod to lead the unit was also a fantastic experience of learning more about the work of peacebuilding in West Papua.
